After the amazing experience of recording the new album with Yoshiyuki Sahashi in Tokyo in November, including special guests Haruomi Hosono, Akiko Yano, Takeo Onuki, and Takako Matsu, the release is set for April on Vivid Sound and I will return for a tour with the full Japanese band in June. The album is entitled, “EN–Volume One”. So excited.
Meanwhile, “Laura–The Music of Laura Nyro” was released worldwide on Gallway Bay Music in January 2025 after the fall release on Vivid Sound in Japan, and the reception has been terrific. So happy to celebrate my friend Laura, whose music has touched so many.
The new Hat Check Girl album was just released on GBM March 28th, and reviews in Europe and the US have been terrific. We are proud of this latest offering, our ninth, and it an all our projects are available on all digital platforms, as well as CD’s via www.bullmoose.com. I am currently mixing Annie Gallup’s latest album, “Night Clothes”, and produced and mixed the new Wendy Beckerman album, eponymously entitled, “Wendy Beckerman”, which we just mastered with Michael McInnis. Both are wonderful collections.
For the upcoming summer concert season, we will be releasing a new Peter Gallway & The Real Band single, “Almost Seventeen b/w Too Sensitive For This World”. Concerts will be posted on this site shortly.
Lastly, discussion is underway for publication of my memoir, “Hardtail Strat–Guitars, Heroin, Stories and Songs”, which has been a long time coming.
Life is full and rich and let us stay strong and united in these troubling times.
