EN—Volume One is the collaboration between singer-songwriter Peter Gallway and acclaimed Japanese guitarist Yoshiyuki Sahashi, featuring guest appearances by legendary Japanese artists and studio musicians, recorded in Tokyo, and released on Vivid Sound Records in April 2025.
After the amazing experience of recording the new album with Yoshiyuki Sahashi in Tokyo in November, including special guests Haruomi Hosono, Akiko Yano, Takeo Onuki, and Takako Matsu, the release is set for April on Vivid Sound and I will return for a tour with the full Japanese band in June. I am thrilled about my upcoming trip to Japan on 15 November to record a new collaborative album with my longtime friend, Tokyo-based guitarist Yoshiyuki Sahashi. Sahash has assembled a stellar cast of Japanese musicians that will include Akiko Yano, Haruomi Hosono, Taeko Ohnuki, and a host of others.
